They are one year in, how is this almost 2 years?

I'm referring to the date when they were announced to be joining the conference. That happened towards the end of 2011.

How were South Carolina and Arkansas in their first year? In their first five years? This shite is a non-issue.

My question is not referring to how well they performed their first season in the league. It is whether their addition is a benefit to the league and a "fit" with the other teams. They very well may have good seasons (but will most likely fall somewhere between Ole Miss and MSU over the long run).

Slive jumped the gun on this one. No reason to have them in the conference. We already can nationally recruit because we're the minor leagues of the NFL, so I don't see what the St.Louis/Kansas City TV markets really do for you. They will improve because no one can stand being embarrassed like they were last year. (Was shocked when I was reminded that they could have gone to the 2007 BCSNC if not for a loss against Oklahoma in the final week of the season). Competition does inherently make you better, they'll come around, but I don't see why we had to be the ones to raise them up just for symmetry's sake (even number of teams).

One of the better responses in the entire thread.

Right, in other words your original post and question isn't directed at peformance or anything at all quantifiable but rather the usual bunch of vague theoretical shite like fit and a bunch of Nostradomus bullshite that's impossible for anyone to prove or argue against so you must be right. Which is the same shitty post that pops up on the Rant every Tuesday or so with 50 other frickers chiming in to flame or take it off on a tangent. Which is why your thread sucks donkey balls.

You got owned in this thread. Super fail.

You can't troll Mizzou fans when this shite, especially when none of us care about southeastern teams, southern states, and southern so-called culture.

Take your shite to the Ole Miss fans. They're vulnerable right now...

We had Jack Crowe and Danny Ford coaching for crying out loud. What are y'all gonna do if Pinkel doesn't come around this year?

Seems to me the bar is set very low by those two for lil' ol' Mizzou. Be mediocre for 5 or 6 years and pull only one bowl out of our arse and we'd *still* be on pace.

Don't kid yourself and don't screw around like we did. I'd hire Bobby MF Petrino...but that's just me ...and I hope y'all don't.

I'm gonna have to agree with Cat - Missouri definitely has it's share of rednecks. And good ole' boys. That's all there is in my home part of Missouri!

So you think that's an excuse? It's farting around. Same thing with Nutt. If ya don't believe me, Nutt had the best record of the three. How well do you think he'd do at Missouri?

If Pinkel doesn't improve drastically, y'all need to do what y'all need to do because it's not going to get any easier.

So what you are saying is that Missouri was a good move for the SEC even though, in your words, none of your fans care about other SEC teams, the south in general or our culture. Got it.

I didn't read the whole thread, i read the first page or two and realized it was all the same bullshite that gets tossed around every week or two. So I'm not sure which exchanges you're talking about. But, come on, guys - you can't honestly say that Missouri doesn't have its share of rednecks!

Otherwise, the boys seem to have this piss-poor troll attempt well in hand.

Who do you think would have been better?

Mizzou has the ability to be good in all sports, has great academics, and most importantly, adds two massive TV markets in STL and KC.

Fixed it for your myopic standards of membership as they apply to UK.

When will these stupid threads stop?

This is a fact.

...and they have plenty enough rednecks to fit in as well.

I don't disagree with you. It's just that bullshite threads like these started by the OP never seem to include any excuses being made or allowed for for Mizzou because we are being coached by Pinkel and whatever flaws he may carry. Never any talk about injuries or the like for us either. Never any talk about how mediocre A&M was for the last 10 years prior to this one or how Mizzou had won 5 of its last 6 games vs A&M and had been the better program than them in the Big 12 for quite awhile. Its all just oversimplification bullshite and theoretical "southern fit" crap. I understand your point, but in saying what I did to you, you get a taste of what these crap threads sound like to Mizzou fans.

My dad lives in KC, I go visit pretty odten, go to chiefs/royals games, go out abd about in KC, etc.

Ive seen regular looking Mizzou fans and then the ones who seem to be more on the chemistry side of things.

Mizzou will be able to put its best foot forward this year since they aren't a MASH Unit

No team in the SEC, Bama and LSU included, would have overcome that injury list.

I'm NOT saying they would have had Mizzous record, but they wouldn't have shined
