They'll be fine. I remember fans' objections when USCe (no football tradition, an ACC school, etc.) and Arkie (a SWC school, inconvenient geographical location, not relevant in football since the 60's, etc.) joined the conference. Things have worked out fairly well with those two additions and I think the same will hold true for Mizzou. My only complaint is that they need to be moved to the west.

I honestly question why Missouri is considered midwestern and Kentucky is considered southern. Kentucky is one state away from Canada, and always seemed pretty northernly to be counsidered 'southern'.

Not a flame, just don't really get it.

So Kentuckians claim parts of Ohio? Jesus, you're starting to sound like a Jayhawker.

Some parts of Kentucky are very southern and some parts are not. Kentucky is a strange state.

Seriously? The Kentucky side of the state line is Cincinnati suburbs. It's not that hard to understand. Most of the people that live there work in Cincinnati. All that separates them is a bridge.

You're getting worse and worse with your trolls. I live close to downtown, not in Buckhead.

You just used a word that I've only ever heard in the South. The only problem is that it isn't a word.

Wow, I've been through Northern Virginia. There are PLENTY of rednecks around Winchester. Hell, I'm from North-Central Arkansas and there were places in VA that I wouldn't even stop at (Gore, VA, I'm looking at you).

When the term NOVA is used, someone is usually referring to Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, etc. The D.C. Metro on the VA side.

Winchester is on the outer edge of what is referred to as NOVA.

Are rednecks supposed to be worse than the poor Asians and MS-13 in Annandale?

There is an abundance of trash in NoVA, too.
