Not Monday
Not Saturday

quote:

I just want our fans to know and everyone to know that LSU made every attempt to try to play this game. We offered to go to Gainesville on Sunday, offered to fly in there Sunday morning, play the game and fly back Sunday night. We offered the opportunity for them to come here Saturday or Sunday to play the game.

quote:

Advocate: Was playing on Monday discussed?

Alleva: It really wasn’t discussed. Although, to be quite frank, we would have made it happen in Tiger Stadium if we had that opportunity to play on Monday.

Just information. Carry on.

Many LSU fans are claiming Alleva offered to play the game Monday. He did not offer that in the meeting.

His sole offer to play the game in Gainesville was to play it on Sunday.

I thought our arse raping of mizzou might help with your obsession of LSU but i guess it only got worse.

I did not expect facts to change anything in LSU fans' minds.

And your AD should have accepted that offer

So what does that have to do with Florida just shooting down every option, and Sankey not growing a pair?

Fulmer was gracious enough to fly in, play the game, and fly out the same day. That was a Monday game though. Same difference.

LSU is the most easily-rustled fanbase of the SEC, they're in a constant state of rustle, no point in trying.

Reason and logic just aren't in their collective wheelhouse.

By every option, you mean one?
Only one option offered by LSU was playing the game in Gainesville.

Thanks for posting what LSU fans have been saying all week....Why is this game not being played today? Because Florida refused.

Florida is getting roasted nationally, and rightfully so.., there were 2,068 options to get this game played this weekend, and Florida refused them all because they wanted to back-door themselves into the SEC title game, and at the very least give its team time to recover injury-wise before playing LSU.

The reality of it is, LSU isn't going to win out regardless. But the way the SEC office let Florida drag their feet and use a natural disaster to their advantage because of the injuries they have right now is complete bullshite

anyways Sunday was a perfectly good option. We gave UF plenty of chances, they didn't want to play the game.

now other Sec teams might have to suffer to get the game in

So you complain about all of the LSU-UF threads and then start a new one?

I don't complain about posts with relevant information.
