All the Spring games are over, hype is the highest right now

I like to scroll through SEC message boards and every one of them is the exact same right now.
-QB looks much improved and has grown leaps and bounds since fall.
-Everyone looks bigger faster and stronger
-Offense will be unstoppable
-Defense wasn’t as dominant but spring games favor the offense and just wait until they let the D line sack the QB and D coordinator opens up
-These early freshman enrollees might be the best class ever
Anything else I’m missing?
Gotta love the kool aid right now. For the next 4 months every player that leaves, “we didn’t want him”. Every transfer in, “this is the missing piece”.
Not sure how mathematically all these teams will go undefeated and they will hand out 20 Heismans, but we’ll worry about that later.

You should read my notes. A&M is going to be mediocre, and our starting QB is probably going to be replaced due to inaccuracy after the injury. The OL is trash-tier, and it should be a long fall.

OU peeps making fun of Arch but all I read yesterday is how Arnold is going to be in NYC and looked amazing.

Nah, that isn't accurate. Arnold went 10-20. Response to his day was somewhat measured by OU fans.
But OU fans now think that Deion Burks is going to be the best receiver in the SEC.

A&M's QB? No idea. Weigman isn't recovered from injury, and the OL is terrible. Reed had the best day of all the available options, but that is simply because he can scramble. The QB doesn't really matter, because they might have two seconds to throw the ball.
A&M is bringing OL in from the portal at an obscene rate, and the 2025 recruting class is focused heavily on the position.
Alabama's QB is going to be Simpson.

Our new QB has a release faster than tectonic plate movement. That will be a nice change of pace.
Our O-line seems vaguely competent. Not great. Not wonderful. But vaguely competent.
We have the usual assortment of pretty good RBs.
Our WRs seem to be able to catch the ball.
Our defense seems to be there. Likely not as good as last year.
A few really good players on defense. A lot of meh players. Injuries will utterly screw us if we have the same luck as previous years.
A bowl game would be nice but that is about the most hyped I'm going to get.

He doesn't know what he's talking about. Milroe will be the starter, and IMO he has the tools to make a Jayden Daniels type progression this year. There are a handful of Alabama fans rooting for the backup QB to start, just like every fan base, but Milroe will be the guy.

Not a chance Milroe is the starter for the new coach. He values QB's that can actually "throw" the football.

A&M will have to play several QB's this fall because the OL is borderline obscene. They got Weigman injured last year, and will do the same for several QB's and RB's. Or we have the best DL of all time ...
