NFL MVP, soon to be Super Bowl MVP, will be in conversation as best NFL QB for the next decade.

And this is right on the heels of Peyton Manning's reign of NFL dominance.

For a fanbase like Alabama, which doesn't have a lot else to look forward to in their lives and is in constant need of approval from others, it has to hurt to see this.

20 years from now, no one outside the SEC will remember the guys from your title teams or even the titles won (and titles subsequently claimed). But everyone will know the legendary guys competing for GOAT status from your two biggest rivals. Kids will grow up hearing of their lore and you'll have to watch them roll their eyes when you try to explain to them who AJ McCarron was.

So long as youre having to dickride another fanbase because of 5 in a row that is good enough for me

Will it be anything like Namath and Starr playing for Bama? Quite a few people seem to still know who they are.

Right because no one remembers Heisman trophy winners.

People still talk about Bo Jackson and Herschel Walker, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to think Derek Henry will be in that discussion seeing as he has the single season rushing record for the SEC and a Heisman trophy like the other two.
