Reminder.....

Throwing out a name gets ignored.

You have to make a case.

atleast 1 LSU Oline deserves to be on that list.
No, not right now. Collins in our best, be he's got to learn how to handle stunts. he and Vadal were awful last night when defense ran stunts, which was frequent. Collins missed several blocks last 2 weeks. He won't go high if he doesn't focus a lot better.

Not a bad list, but I can't help but think leaving Jeremy Hill out is a sorry effort to troll.

I would possibly be okay with Gurley and Collins as your backs, but there's really no way Hill is the 4th best back in the SEC.

Would also nominate Ego Ferguson (DT), Odell Beckham Jr. (WR), and Zach Mettenberger (QB). They're playing at an all-conference level, but there are better cases to be made. They're worth a nomination at least.

I didn't put Gurley in there either... no attempt to troll.

Also, Beckham was on the last list and would have made this list again instead of Landry, but Landry made the majority of the plays yesterday.

You've probably got the best WR tandem in the country, and possibly the best stable of backs, but as far as the individually best players, you should be happy with Landry in there, and Beckham only being beat out by Evans.

Are we going to call him Right Guard or Left Guard?

Roll Tide just lists him as OL.

Yeah, I don't have any beef with Ferguson, Beckham Jr. and Mettenberger being left off. I think both our WRs are better than Mike Evans, but it's damn hard to argue with Evans being on there so far, and I won't. Mettenberger could go up there, as could three other QBs, so it's not an issue. And Ferguson hasn't done anything that makes him a must-have on the list.

Case for Hill:
* Twice as many TDs as Alex Collins on 2/3rds of the carries
* Effectively the same YPG as Collins (10 ypg fewer) and a full extra yard per carry (6.9 vs 6.0)
* Leads the SEC in both TDs (tied with Malena at 7) and TDs/gm (7 TDs in 4 games vs 5 for Malena)

Uh oh... we got a discussion....

Who is going to be left tackle?

Cyrus Kouandjio or La'el Collins?

An LSU fan nominated them both... but just as "OL"...

Who is going to get the nod this week?

Or Jake Matthews from AnM???

WHo is the absolute most beastly interior defensive lineman in the conference right now?

Easley is out with ACL.....

Need two more.

Don't make me be a homer and put UGA guys in there...

Too many left tackles nominated.

Yall throw in some beastly guards.

I'm adding Theus for Right Tackle for UGA, he has done a great job this year in both pass protection and run blocking on his side, Gurley and Marshall's favorite side to run. Murray also likes rolling out that way, Theus hasn't let him down yet.

I've got half a mind to put UGA's Houston or Burnette at Right Guard, Gurley's favorite A-Gap that is usually wide open.... thanks to that position being played really well.

I assume when you say everyone shitting the bed you surely only mean our lbs and secondary right? Everyone else on offense has done fine as has the dl

Thoughts on Hill over Alex Collins? Is Hill DQ'd for the 1-game suspension that's been served already, or is there something else holding him back?

As for interior linemen, I have no idea how Ferguson stacks up compared to the rest of the conference. He's been our most disruptive interior lineman this season, but he doesn't jump out at me as all-SEC.

You might want to take that up with Clowney and Spurrier who have been throwing your team under the bus for the last 3 weeks, you angry little gamecock.

I put Mike Davis on the list by my own accord... no prompting or arguments... I started the list with Davis on there... but you still want to be an angry little gamecock.

How about you make an argument for why Clowney should be on there.

I'll hang up and listen.

Noone is jumping out at me either, but surely some exist.

Some names would be Quarles (SC) and there are a couple of UGA guys but Grantham rotates them out constantly in the 3-4 so no 1 guy has a bunch of stats, sort of like UGA's receivers.

I've been waiting to drop Collins until he played some decent competition... which he just did... and still played extremely well.

There's definitely a case to be made for Hill and Gurley.

AnthonyJohnson is interior, right? Listed as tackle on espn player page, and snatched murray's pass out of the air yesterday.
