We're about to get in SEC play for basketball and thought I'd take a stab at an All-SEC list. There are 3 teams each with 5 players, each team will have a dedicated 2 guards, and 2 bigs. The last spot is a wild card that could go to a guard or forward.

1st Team
C: SO. Tyler Davis (A&M)
PF: JR. Yante Maten (UGA)
G: SO. Quinndary Weatherspoon (MSU)
SG: FR. Malik Monk (UK)
PG: FR. De'Aaron Fox (UK)

2nd Team
PF: SR. Sebastian Saiz (OM)
PF: FR. Robert Williams (A&M)
F: FR. Daniel Puriofy (AU)
SG: FR. Mustapha Heron (AU)
PG: SR. Sindarius Thornwell (USC)

3rd Team
C: FR. Edrice Adebayo (UK)
PF: JR. Duop Reath (LSU)
F: JR. Devin Robinson (UF)
SG: SR. Dusty Hannahs (ARK)
G: SO. PJ Dozier (USC)

Top 5 Just missing the cut:
C: SR. Moses Kingsley (ARK)
F: SO. Chris Silva (USC)
F: SO. Aric Holman (MSU)
G: JR. Daryl Macon (ARK)
G: SO. Terence Davis (OM)

I guess I'm confused. Is this list supposed to represent how you feel the all sec will be after the season is done or some list that's supposed to represent how the media will have selected the preseason all sec?

If the former then I don't know about Dusty being our rep and being on the 3rd team.

I would have Saiz over Davis and Weatherspoon has missed a few games this year. Terrance Davis is one of the most improved players in the country. He might be leading the SEC in dunks.

Purifoy has been inconsistent though. Goes for 27 two games in a row, then follows it up with 7 points on 1-8 from the field.

Heron has been more consistent for us, just hasn't been as explosive as Purifoy

Q has missed 2 games. And Saiz couldn't carry his jock strap in the BB court.

Maybe not but Saiz has carried his team to a top 50 RPI. Maybe someday Weatherspoon can carry State into the top 100.

PJ Dozier will be 1st or 2nd team by end of year. Kid is a stud

Actually I agree.

And even in that game.

I want to say he had 20 in the first half, only finished with 27 for the game.

He was clearly the hot player that half.

Didn't look aggressive or demanding the ball in the second half. Just kind of going through the motions.

He's clearly the most talented player on our team.

Just hope his production doesn't go down with Sin coming back.

I would rather have a team that has balanced scoring and knows how to constantly move the ball like the cocks, thus leading to assists, than a team full of selfish fricks.

In what world has a guy like Aric Holman better than Robert Hubbs this year?

Holman actually has a higher PER.

Hubbs admittedly I'm not a huge fan of because he's a guard that cant shoot the 3 and also cant handle the ball.
