Its not an obsession, more of an intervention. Yall just suffered a great loss and have convinced yourselves you will be better off. Its going to be difficult for yall to get a top notch DC without offering guaranteed money, which is why Chavis left. This is why names like stoops are popping up

Didn't lsu lose 5 games this year and in 3 of those games giving up more than 30 points.

As long as LSU owns y'all I'm happy.
Congrats on good hire at DC, I personally liked Chief and thought he done a respectable job at LSU except for a few times. But don't fool yourself into thinking that Chavis leaving will make us worse.

Cheers. I liked your post. But It's not just about LSU getting worse, it's about A&M getting better.
And remember that what made LSU struggle wasn't on the defensive side of the ball. That unit was #1 in the SEC.
