Isn't Portis projected in the lottery? Why would he come back?

I think he was just outside the lottery, but his play has diminished drastically the past few games. Doesn't help when you don't do well in the national spotlight.

No. Most had him just outside.

Next year's class will be much weaker than this years at his position.

Not many guys projected in the lottery come back.

Qualls would be drafted as well. Probably second round and that's a bit more dicey

That's still guaranteed millions. I'll be surprised, and giddy, if he chooses to return.

You don't leave school early to go in the 2nd round...

He has given info that he would have went in the first round.

Bad info, combined with bad advice from others based on the same info.

Seriously.... get the frick out.

Aren't there rules on here about allowing fans of terrible teams to just post on here whenever they want to?

If we can make the fans of Missouri want it more, maybe they will field a team that won't embarrass the entire conference.

Jordan Clarkson disagrees.

Hell, Jabari Brown left and wasn't even drafted.

Thurman a better college player than Portis at this point in time.

Portis's game is better suited to the pro game, though Thurman would have done better in today's game than compared to twenty years ago.

Portis is going to benefit playing in a pick and roll with NBA talent all around him.

What if you're wrong?

Exactly....... nothing.

What if an NBA talent scout is wrong?

the world will still need bartenders.

Yep. He's already got the stroke for pick-and-pop. It'll be interesting to see where he goes.

Portis actually reminds me of Chris Webber. Similar size/build. Fairly similar stroke. Good around the basket or outside. He's just not the passer CWebb was, but not many are at that size.
