i would say its pretty obvious bama has played better competition and LSU has played far inferior teams.

Alabama fans wouldn't know a good schedule if it celebrated the Bear's birthday on 9/11. They haven't seen one in years.

It's because Bama has to play LSU, while LSU merely has to play Bama.

I was waiting for this, and it tastes just as sweet as I thought it would.

Is it week 9 yet? No.
Are these SOS worth anything yet? No.
Want to talk about the SOS at the end of the year? No.

Just sayin.

First Bama fans ROOT for the barn to beat LSU to "make it easier to win the west" and now these non-stop schedule threads after 3-4 games

A segment of the Gumps seems insecure and unstable in regards to a certain LSU football squad

Didn't Florida just beat Bama's permanent opponent.

..and lost their starting QB in the process. Of course, that might be a good thing for LSU

Let's see........... Florida's starting QB goes down to season ending injury with Tennessee up 7-0. Florida goes on to out score Tennessee 31-10 with 2nd string QB and win for the 9th time in a row and 17th time since 1992.

But, but, but........ LSU's schedule is now so much easier than Bama's since UF's QB went down with a broken leg.

OK.

One can't expect a Gump to understand the difference between truth and accuracy.

is this supposed to be some kind of BOOM to lsu posters thread? it is obvious to anyone that bama has played a tougher schedule than lsu currently, they had a top 10 matchup. anyone who denies that is delusional. at the end of the season let's revisit this

You can always count on Gumps to take the wrong thing away from something obvious. When everyone else thinks of 9/11, they think of one thing, gumps think Bahr. It is just a different culture that deifies football at the expense of everything else. Much like the idol worship that was exposed at Penn State, Bama's spiritual godfather program.

Look at how Sagarin computes a lot of his rankings. They are moronic. Like conference rank for instance. An inequitable and moronic weighting system that just mathematically "eliminates" some sort of bias, but promotes others.

Dude,

Just look at the two schedules side-by-side, especially the SEC schedules. Then, tell me Bama has a tougher schedule. Yeah, right.

It's not like LSU fans can actually interpret those numbers. They all swore it was impossible for BAMA to get into the 2011 BCS game based on those numbers.

Man that was good times. They got to enjoy 9-6 for about a month before panic and fear ruined their Christmas. And then Saban stole their championship.

Georgia/Florida

vs

Tennessee/Kentucky

doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that LSU has a tougher schedule than Bama. It is what it is. That has been discussed ad-naseum over the last few months/years.

As to the OP, Auburn was also #1 in one of the BCS computers last week.
