Auburn finished fifth in the SEC West, had a losing record for the third consecutive season, and got blown out in the Music City Bowl.

People really don't understand when they see these numbers from teams that are constantly at the head of the high school recruiting rankings.
Teams like UGA, OSU, Bama and others who recruit in the top 5 year after year mostly aren't losing big contributors. They're processing misses in recruiting to make room for HS recruits and a select few incoming transfers.
Bama has to make room for their incoming recruits. That's what you're seeing with transfers. Bama wouldn't have been able to sign 27 players in this class and bring in the transfers they want without cutting some guys.

Alabama needs 2 or 3 more to "portal" so that we will be at 85 scholarships when we sign Ryan Williams.... so please... raid a couple more who need playing time.
