Yall can still pick someone OOC that is actually good.

We tried to get San Jose State and Samford, but they were already playing an Alabama school.

So, doesn't this say even more about your program? What you're saying is Bama is not as good. It's their schedule.

Bama's not that great and only won 11 games because of an easy schedule...which included your tigers.

Funny how fans never talk about opponents' SOS when you beat them but when they beat you, they weren't that good.

I think you've got it backwards.

It wouldn't be a Bama thread if you didn't post in it. Thanks buddy.

Auburn played uga and mizzou.

bammer played who? vandy or kentucky?

I know it's not a fair assessment since we played an extra opponant in the SEC title game. bammer is not used to playing in that game the last 10 years.

In basketball and baseball teams don't have the ability to avoid the best teams in the conference.
We saw what happened to bama in baseball when they had to face the best teams in the conference. They folded like a cheap tent from walmark. Same thing in basketball.

This 8 game schedule with permanent opponents is total BS and everyone knows it. The SEC needs to go to a 10 game conference schedule. Then we would find out if bama can finish better than they do in baseball and basketball.

*WE* tried to go to a 9 game schedule. Most of the other coaches wussed out.

Don't blame us.

Looks like the "sleeping giant" will hibernate at least one more season. I almost feel sorry for their fans.

This can be a bit misleading. For instance, compare and contrast Arkansas vs Alabama on this list. Alabama contributed to a lot of losses of their opponents, and Arkansas contributed to a lot of wins of their opponents. In other words, if the Hogs were a better team, OF COURSE their opponents cumulative record would look worse.

Exactly - Subtract out the bama game for bama's opponents to get the true number for bama's percentage. It is not bama's fault that Va Tech, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Tennessee couldn't field a competitive team. Miss St and Kentucky are SEC doormats that are just living off other SEC teams bowl money. Colorado St, Ga St, and Chattanooga are jokes and bama is just doing what everybody else is doing, filling the stands for an easy victory.

I don't think its coincidence that the rotation changes so Bama can keep playing they weaker schools. The coaches know how it works and even they complain about it.

You're an even bigger moron than Rabern.

Bama, LSU and Auburn have all played in 3 SEC Title games the last ten years. Arky had the other.

In fairness they did play Bama so that is one loss that if it went the other way could have been higher. If you took 11 losses and moved them to the win column they would have been 82-68 and have a 54.66 winning percentage.
