They were a great defense that just met up with an even better offense with superior play calling. That was the most athletic D I've seen at Bama with all the defensive scores, but the 2011 D was the best pure defense I've ever seen them have and it was by a pretty good margin.

They are a great defense, but in that second half, Watson and his receivers would not be denied.

Yea, basically what I walked away thinking. They made plays, no defense was stopping some of that stuff.
