The first possessions for both teams were microcosms for the entire night and how this game played out
We were completely and utterly dominated. Our lines don't have the quality and depth we once did thanks to lazy hires Les allowed to stick around too long. But you have been consistent and the recruiting and development, both from a coaching and a strength and conditioning standpoint, is painfully superior.
I can talk about Jimmies and Joes or X's and O's, but I'll lick those wounds with my fellow LSU Fans.
This evening I'm here to express my admiration for your consistent dominance, and the talent, skill and coaching your football program possesses.
Congrats on the win.

I'm here to say regardless of the 172 downvotes received from LSU fans I was right when I said Henry will have more yards

Bad field position kept your offense bottled up all night. Had to play conservatively to avoid the turnovers in your own territory. Didn't trust Harris to make plays. Result was an offensive scheme that played right into Bama's hands.
When Alabama had the ball, they ate up the clock, limiting the number of touches LF7 got. No big plays really, just a steady string of first downs.

Good luck the rest of the way.
As I said last night, if LSU wins out they should be in the playoff

Yea i dont agree with that. They trusted Harris twice to throw out of their own end zone. He made a nice pass once and the other was too far outside. They also trusted him to roll out and throw the ball on their very first play of the second half, it just ended up as an interception. They played a bit from their own end zone but so did Bama and both teams made some plays to flip the field at times.
