We clearly weren't trying vs Arkansas. I bet in the 4th quarter Saban said ok lets actually take this game halfway serious now and then they win k?
yeah , I know Bama has a good ball team, but anyone who has ever been around college and pro football teams knows the huge difference in level of play.

You're Bama hate is blinding you dude. Alabama has future NFL stars all across the board. If you don't think we could compete for 4 quarters with guys lik Julio, Ingram, Trent, Barron, Hightower, and Dareus then I don't know what to tell you. Take off your Bama hating glasses for one second.

Top college teams could sometimes keep things close or beat an NFL team. A team like the Canes or Huskers at their peak probably had more elite NFL talent than someone like the Buffalo Bills. I'm not saying it would happen often but it wouldnt be the greatest upset ever for the Bills to lose to a college team.

That being said the Lions just lost to Green Bay by 2 points. When you're looking for a NFL team that could lose to a college team, then you're generally looking at teams that are going 1-15 and are losing every game by three scores. The Lions aren't that bad this year, even with their injury problems.

The only team I see this year that might lose to a college team is the Buffalo Bills. Most of their starters weren't even badasses at the college level. They are terrible.

That's why I don't think Bama would win. Naturally we'd run up a big lead in the first half, but Saban would take his foot off the gas in the 2nd and let Detroit back in it.

I put the Lions because I think it would be a good game. Everyone already knows we'd crush the Bills.

Also remember College teams have kids 18-21,22 yrs old. Does the OP really think these linemen at that age are gonna hang with 25-35 yr ole men. The loins would beat Bama by 50 easy.

You should change your name to real dumb because if you can't see that we have clear advantages over the Lions in some areas then I don't know what to tell you.

Off-field? Of course, but I don't think Saban would let them wander around Detroit after dark. Plus Marcel would still play even after a gunshot wound.
