Did that game not look more like a natty game? You aren’t gonna stop that Bama offense but at times Florida did well on defense plus the UF offense answered almost every time Bama scored.

UF came ready to play, that was a great game. Best of the year imo.

Was pretty apparent Florida spent about 2-3 weeks prepping for Bama. If they only had one week they’d have been blown out the building.

Lmao.. Please.

Trask is the first QB to put up 400 on Bama’s Defense since 2017.

I tried to explain that UF was missing a lot more than Pitts vs LSU. That I loved LSU's toghness that game, and considering the week they had leading up to it, it was a remarkable upset. Not trying to put a damper on LSU's accomplishment at all. I sat in the game thread and enjoyed it a lot. But when I saw the list of UF players out, I realized that we were going to be facing a different UF team in Atlanta.

Trask is the real deal. A lot of people in here were ripping on him beginning of season how he was just average. Anyone who still thinks that is dumb as shite.

The game was closer than I had anticipated. Alabama's offense is loaded with talent. You can't key on any one aspect or player. Its a matter of picking your poison.

Are they unbeatable? No, but Florida couldn't do it. I think UF came closer than anyone so far this year.

They're a damned good team with minor deficiencies. I expect them to win it all.

Undefeated regular season and SEC Champs for the 28th time. How will we ever cope?

If the line was a toss up, I'd bet the farm on Florida against Notre Dame or Ohio State.

True that, I mean Bama had 3 guys who could win the heisman. That team is SICK with talent. Yet UF gave them a great game. It was the most enjoyable game I saw all year.

It was nice to see Mac daddy put up the record for most yards in the champ game

He is a beast no doubt. Question, how big of a blow is it going to be losing your center during that game. Freak injury but it appeared to me he is part of the heart and soul on the offense by the players reaction. How good is his replacement?

Chris Owens was a starter at center for about 50 games.
He was used this year as a 6th lineman.

I saw somewhere that Bama beat every team by at least 15 points and averaged winning by 32 points. That's impressive in itself. For Florida to stay within a touchdown is equally impressive.

Well that is huge because he’s seen enough football at center to read the defense. People underestimate how important a great center is.

Florida wins if the defender doesn't fumble the ball when D smith hit him
