bama losing a lot on defense, and Hurts gonna struggle against FSU defense.
FSU still got that tough QB and two new stud RBs.

There isn't a team in the country with more talent on paper than Alabama next year. That's gotten them 3 trips to the playoffs in 3 years. I don't have to study every roster to know that 6 straight top recruiting classes means you have more talent than everyone else on your schedule

Bama loses a lot on defense every year. In 2011 they lost 4 guys that went in the top 35 picks in the draft. Won the natty

Clemson loses too much. Thankfully.

you also gloss over the fact that the offenses on other SEC teams has not been good over the past 5 years or so. if QB play improves in SEC, Bama not going to the playoffs every year.

With a 5* behind them to replace them..

We just went 14-1 and played for a NC with a guy that can't make a 10-yeard pass.. I think we'll be alright.
Where have you people been the last 8 years.. We just reload and keep going.

Take it from a GT alum, I know what "Clemsoning" truly is and how real it can be:

Previously undefeated, the Clemson Tigers lost their first game of the season to unranked Georgia Tech Saturday in Atlanta, 13-3.
Clemson's only points came from kicker Mark Buchholz, a 48-yard field goal just 1:12 into the game. Buchholz missed four other field goal attempts during the game. The Associated Press called Buchholz's performance "stunningly poor."

u had to do a deep dive to find that one.
hasn't every program had disappointing losses? lol Clemson had beat like 35 ranked teams in a row untill oss to Pitt, and believe Pitt was ranked in last poll.

the defense didn't win it, special teams did and some bombs by the QB.
why didn't your 5 star defense stop Renfrow, a walkon for scoring the go ahead TD. lol

What does that incorrect assessment have to do with them continuing to field less talent than Alabama?

nothing lasts forever. Saban had won all previous title games until this year.

your assessment is based soley on recruiting rankings. i don't you have any in depth knowledge of players on each team's roster next year. you can't project strengths and weaknesses of teams, etc. Obviously the best team doesn't always win, turnovers happen, etc. bama lost to ole miss two years in a row.

so ole miss had higher ranked classes? doesn't Bama have more 5 stars than Clemson and Oklahoma.

Clemson will have the biggest drop off from a NC winning team since Auburn in 2011, They went 8-5 the year after winning one. Clemson will struggle to even get to there.

When did Ole Miss keep Alabama out of the playoffs?
