The thing that made LSU look bad was that the chant happened while thier own player was hurt

I believe Scarbinsky mentioned how classless this was before the Auburn game, so they must have done the same thing to other teams as well

No, we don't feel that way about other teams. Just frick auburn.

And frick Scarbinsky.

But mainly frick auburn.

You are obviously unaware of the place where the song was written. In north east alabama, near Tennessee and the Tennessee river by the group alabama. Ft Payne

...anyways there are very few things more Alabama than songs about the Tennessee valley by Written and performed by Alabama.

Much more "Alabama" than lynyrd skynyrd and sweet home Alabama ...at least to me.

Oh right.

He knows his place, and it's not inside the stadium.

And she was probably chanting right along with the students.

I thought they had added new lyrics and I missed something.
I am sure it was retaliation for Sab's article and orchestrated to perfection.

My feelings against AU have deteriorated over the years. We win and life goes on, they win and they never shut up

Right, there is always something that makes it different. And Rammer Jammer. Just call it as it is. Again, I got a laugh out of it.

Love the song and coordination, but "Hold her up tight (against a wall)" sounds a little rapey.

My question is why we bother including LSU in the chant? Why not add someone relevant like Arkansas or Mississippi State

Wow. Imagine what they will do when they play their real rival, Tennessee.

I hate them because they hate us so much. We live to win championships, they live to beat us. That's why they're almost always a threat because they can always salvage a season by beating us. Tubs and Malzahn (and every coach theyve ever had) understand that this game is more important to them than every other game combined. That's why it's almost always more competitive than it should be, and that's really why I hate them. They're a thorn in our side.

ETA: frick Auburn

8 in a row pretty much takes the venom out. When they are competitive again, the rivalry will come back.

Thanks for your point, though. It reminds me of a great quote I once heard:

"frick auburn."

Wait a minute, they used LSU in it with their other two rivals?

Rivalry accepted.
