why do we have these threads every year like its news, and every year you get dumb comments about cheating, and every year you get the same explanation about how every team self reports these minor infractions? seems like the majority of the rant is unable to form long term memories

Hhhm. That's way down from normal. Auburn reported 21 last year. Tennessee reported 10. LSU about the same. These report dumps of secondary violations usually come out this time of year.
