Next season is going to be a tough season for Alabama football fans to stomach. They're still going to be really good, but the QB position wont be nearly as strong as it's been with McElroy and McCarron. They'll have a bit of a setback.

Not so fast my friend.

Saban made it a point to recruit great receivers and has stockpiled some special talent.

He has made an even more concerted effort to get that really special QB to take us to the next level.

Playing QB for Saban is cerebral above all. He has 4 or 5 that fit the mold. If just 1 steps forward we could have the best QB to play under Saban to date.

No stats are released on the QB race, so it's impossible to say who's leading.

Blake is playing because he has put in the work, is a good kid and is the best advertisement to recruits that want to take over for AJ.

Don't be surprised when people say things like "where did that kid come from" Every QB on our roster except Sims was highly sought after.

Saban teaches his QB's to distribute the ball, rather than act like a gun slinger who could lose a game as well as win a Heisman, but QB's are taking notice. They like the system Saban runs.

Heck Ricky Town couldn't wait to commit. We're gonna be more than good at the QB position.

PS. Nobody on this msg. board knows who is doing well and who isn't. Saban closes practice and never tips his hand. He even fudges the stats for the QB's just to phuk with the media and keep pressure off the QB incumbent, heir apparent.

Yea, but a lot of SEC teams will be breaking in new QB's too. LSU, Mizzou, UGA, and likely A&M. Not sure about Wallace, and isn't Shaw a senior too?

Did you even watch any games from the McElroy era? He was very average.

You haven't heard? Saban is going to strong arm his puppets at the NCAA office into banning the forward pass in CFB until he finds his passer. He will set Bama's conference schedule in the same meeting that this is decided.
