Kinda like OSU and VT opener last year.
It wasn't the opener for either team last year. Doesn't matter because this happened.

ironic you talking about OOC schedules since Tosu one is pretty weak this year

Wisconsin couldn't beat an 8-5 LSU
But they did beat Auburn last year. Did LSU?

Could Bama lose, hell yes... Get destroyed?? I think those chances are about as remote as the chances of me not having a threesome with my sister and cousin and them letting me defile them in EVERY way possible after the game...

This is the problem fans have, they don't understand the difference between losing to Ohio State and playing Wisconsin.
Ohio State = athletes all over the place. Can beat anyone in the country any day of the week.
Wisconsin = limited skill talent and lacks quality depth.
For my team, we had a dumb coach that cared more about stopping their passing game then carying to stop their run. Fricken stupid. Now he is at Youngtown State for a reason.
Alabama will stuff the run and force them to pass and that will lead to a comfortable win for Alabama.
I don't expect Alabama to be lights out on offense at this time of the season, but they will move the ball at times and get some points.

It's not any worse than this:
Wisconsin
Middle Tennessee
ULM
FCS
Bama's toughest opponent got waxed in a championship game against Ohio State last year, and there isn't a single away game on that list.

Wisconsin is a joke. Game will be a blood bath.

Because Auburn and Alabama have such similar styles of play... :

So you think 2014 LSU and 2015 Alabama are the same team? I sure hope not. Don't need any Gumps killing family members over an 8-5 effort.

i dont think u realize how bad wisconsin is going to be this season
Posted on 8/15/15 at 10:52 am to DisplacedBuckeye
the wisconsin game was scheduled years ago. Just like Bama playing USC to open the season next year. Bama will play a number of teams this year that are ranked in the top 25 preseason regardless of its OCC schedule. Can you say the same thing right now. NS is vying for a 9 game SEC schedule that would eliminate a bad OCC game.

1. You can say the same thing about Ohio State scheduling VT, Cal, etc and it doesn't change anything.
2. Two of those preseason teams are Tennessee and Arkansas. Baylor and TCU are in the top 5, with UGA, USC, ND and Clemson right around 10. Preseason rankings mean shite. Don't bring them up again.

Bama needs a meaningful OOC win. It hasn't happened since 2010.
Beating Wisconsin will not count as a meaningful OOC win.

This is probably true, but Wisconsin could easily get to the CCG with one loss. If they get hot at the end of the year it could become meaningful.

Of course it changes, you schedule name brands and if they happen to suck so be it but you can't predict the sos 3-5 years ahead.

Ok, but don't bring your 1 up again.
Not a Big 10 hater, grew up on that football before I went to LSU, but this sos shite other conferences try to pull on SEC teams every year trying to win a pissing contest is beyond ridiculous.

Will the ridicule be anywhere as bad as LSU got when they lost to Notre Dame?
