I don't know where LSU stands with him, but the Alabama staff really likes him.

A standout from the state of Louisiana to keep an eye on is Bastrop cornerback JaVante Watson. The 5-11, 185-pound Watson hasn't gotten much publicity from recruiting services, but he's certainly getting attention from the Alabama coaches.

Can't even find him on rivals. Saban must be getting desperate.

Unranked to 4 star when Bama offers. Is that how it works now.

probably will not get an LSU offer.... but he might be able to impress at camp like Mathieu did last year.
Right now he is a LA top 30... I put him at 28 IMO

Maybe you should. Sarcasm over the internet is hard to pick up sometimes

I went with the spelling I saw on TiderInsider. I've seen it spelled three different ways today.

He will not have a spot in Bama's class at the end of the day unless they miss on a lot of guys. The offer is meaningless if they aren't holding a spot for him.Bama has much bigger fish on the list than him.Not meant as a knock on the kid, just facts.

Alabama has not offered very many DBs. There has to be some serious interest if he has an offer (no matter what type of offer it is).
