Was a great game. Represents SEC football better than anything I've watched this year without a doubt, maybe last year too.

Mullen had a great game plan and was so close to pulling it off. Fitzgerald is the best QB we’ve seen to this point.
Please stop with the cowbells. Your fans are plenty loud without them.

Fitz grew up last night. But close losses are still losses. That is a bad way to lose.

It was a good (not fun as a UA fan) game to watch, definitely the most competitive game Alabama's been in all season long. MSU was much better than I thought they would be, the O-Line and QB are definitely great players. Pushed our D-Line around all night. Both teams fought hard and either would've been deserving of the W. Best of luck to State the rest of the season!

Probably had a lot to do with that game being over in the first quarter.

It was a great game. Hurts once again proved his value. Without him, you guys would have lost, no doubt about it.

Alabama is the Mayweather of College Football. They're a ratings magnet and people tune in just to root against them.

9th most watched game of the season. One ahead of LSU/Alabama.
Another hole poked into LSU's legendary 2 TD almost win to Bama. Sort of stings the Bayou Bengal fanbase.

Fitzgerald played a hell of a game, probably the best I've ever seen him play. I sure was pulling for you guys. It was a great game, too bad the good guys didn't win.

Our moral victories just keep on coming.

It was a very dramatic over the edge type of game for sure but, looking ahead as a fan of Alabama I'm scared to see what the future holds for us in the finals. We should have dominated State[not taking away from MState at all] like we've done previously, but when you give that ball to Hurts it's a 50/50 chance with the kid that he'll either choke out or run like the dang Flash or pass it over to Harris or Smith. Auburn was just able to manhandle Georgia because Georgia played sloppy.

I don't think we could care any less about the ratings as compared to the LSU/Alabama game. Big deal. The thing I most care about is how beatable Alabama looks this year. If Auburn plays like it did in its dominating win over Georgia, I think Bama is in for real trouble in the Iron Bowl. I'm looking forward to seeing that game.

The thing that has surprised me lately is how Alabama is being beaten at times on the defensive and offensive lines. They don't seem nearly as dominating here as they've always been in the past. Of course, Mississippi State does have a very good front seven this season, but even LSU, with two freshmen playing on the offensive line, was able to get the better of Alabama's D-line fairly often during that game.

We don’t have a Jonathan Allen on the DL this year.
