Well that's a wrap. Great game - pretty sloppy. Interested to see what happens next year. Glad it is in BD.

Also on the last play Jennings could have tried but Collins was eyeing him and would have come up quick for a hit.

That 4th down was a bad decision, but a perfect throw by AJ. He obviously could have ran it past the marker though.

They were letting them play, DeAndrew had his arm pulled away twice on big plays, no call. Fitting he got the winning td.

Not surprising to me that they don't show one of the worst calls I have ever seen in any sporting event that changed the complexion of a game.

You must not watch a lot of football if you think a player pushing someone and getting a penalty for it is the most egregious thing you've ever seen.

Stop trying to reason with them, this is how they deal with losses, just check out the Saints board.

Only a bunch of fatass, hobknobbing Bama fans would redo a game thread during a replay of a game they should've lost.. You shouldn't have abandoned the real game thread Saturday night you fairweather fricks.

Not even close to the bull shite PF called on lsu.
it was worse. brown was doing something legitimate while the play was still going. alexander took a cheap shot because he didnt like ashawn trying to pull him off of ivory. he subsequently proceeded to knee ivory violently in the back of the head after the shove. all this about 3 seconds after the whistle blew. of course its going to get called

You see what you want to I guess. Why was he pulling Vadal's knee??

I really do not feel like that was the reason.

We actually just beat ourselves for once in this rivalry.

as do you. your video isnt loading, but ive seen the clip dozens of times now. Start with the fact that all the other shoving that goes on is instigated by your #77, both with reed and then depriest. Vadal is not moving off to allow ivory 99 to get up. ashawn is doing what happens with nearly every play that ends in a scrum, trying to clear it out so his teammate can get up. Alexander then incredibly stupidly, after the play was long blown dead, takes a shot at 86 right in front of the ref, then knees 99 (who is still underneath him) right in the head as he follows through with the shove. Honestly, trying to make this call the biggest travesty in the history of sports is incredibly stupid and pathetic. this would be called 99% of the time by any ref crew at any level of the game.

Dude. Please.

Alabama won the game. No doubt. Congrats.

But if you call that a cheapshot, watch the game yet again and see how many times Alabama players were pushing after the play was over throughout the entire game. I don't think they should have been flagged, but that's the point. They weren't and neither should Alexander have been. Call the game consistently throughout the game. Just a ticky tack call with that much time left in the game. Just like the no call in the last play of the game. I'm fine with that not being called because it was such a crucial moment

This right here shows you're a fricking idiot. Vadal's knee comes up because your boy is pulling up on it.

The problem is, the referee really couldn't ignore that one. It was right in his face, and it was a full-on shove, not just jostling in the pile. I would agree that games should be called consistently, but Alexander made an incredibly stupid decision to escalate right in front of the ref well after the whistle had been blown. Did the Bama guy oversell it? I have no idea (though I've seen enough LSU fans cheering their own flopper that I would shake my head at any who get upset at the idea of another team flopping.) But he did fall back and it was a direct result of an entirely unsubtle push right in front of the ref. It was the very definition of a dead-ball foul regardless of whether you consider it inconsistently called. That's really not in question. Football players take cheap shots in piles all the time (I know, I was one, for about 3 minutes every game in high school ) but they at least try not to make it obvious. Alexander made no such effort.
