You bit on the initial propaganda poll. Gotta admit the hooks were sharp and figured many would.
It did prove how flawed it all is when you leave it to a group of homers. And everyone is a homer. Just go to a press box and witness a close game. I call it the "depressed box" because there is suppose to be no cheering. But, when the game is close, all of a sudden, when a team scores, a bunch of homers can't restrain themselves and they start cheering. And, if you hang out with these people, you learn they are all homers for a team once the camera is off or the pen is put down.
This system with the way they are doing it now is really going to fail before it's over. Probably the thing that leads to the 8 team playoff. Which I like.

Except for the fact that Bama has a tougher strength of schedule so far than Florida, they have 3 wins over .500+ teams compared to Florida's 2 wins over such teams, etc.
I could have easily seen an argument for Florida to be in top 6 and Bama in top 6, but none of it really matters today. Saturday at 11:30p the whole thing will look different after TCU/OSU, Bama/LSU, Clemson/FSU, etc.
