Bama isn't used to playing AU level of difficulty schedules though. This is sorta a shock to their system.

To be fair, 10,000 of those came from a heated exchange one weekend on the Food and Drink board.

That isn't that tough of a schedule outside of the west games which we all play

We get Wisconsin and Georgia. I'd say that is fairly tough.

Though it secretly falls right into Saban's plans, because neither of them will be doing anything offensively that we don't usually shutdown.

Anyway, does anyone in the West get anything tougher than Wisconsin/Georgia/Tennessee Out of Division? I don't know off the top of my head.

AU is just as tough and we consider next year to be an easier schedule than normal.

forget the names, when was the last time Alabama played an SECe team that ended the season with a winning conference record? serious question, trying to look it up but hoping someone knows.

They beat eventual 7-6 UF in the 2011 regular season. That's the last time in a regular season schedule.

Ohh so when LSU plays Wisconsin it makes the schedule tough, but when Alabama plays them, it doesn't matter? Makes sense.

you realize Wisconsin just lost their coach and will lose by far their best player by a longshot, right?

Not only that, they lose a lot of players and they will be forced to start Tanner McEvoy at QB again. Lulz.

Wisconsin should be an easy win for Bama next year. They will be down and somewhat rebuilding. However, when bama guys made schedule years ago this was a good game to schedule. Can't hate on them for the timing of it all, Wisconsin is still a respectable OOC opponent.

Sumlin has a losing record at College Station versus ranked SEC teams. You lost any credibility that you built with the underlined expression.

I believe Alabama has one of the toughest schedules in the league too, but your last remark discredits the purpose of this thread. Rather than presenting an insightful, well thought out argument for why Alabama's schedule is the toughest, you posted this crap.

Does anybody remember the back story to that. I seem to recall something about the qb who was expected to start having some kind of breakdown or something.
