Point per game

Offensive points per game

No, you STFU. Also, you can score on special teams.

Yep, and during that time our defense didn't let you score while our offense put up 5 TD's.

So, while not our best overall effort, the defense made plays down the stretch when it mattered while Auburn did not.

From the links you posted: "The stats on this page include data ONLY from games involving two FBS schools." So your data is incomplete.

I went to the ESPN statistics pages, and counted only passing/rushing TDs and associated PATs. (The only thing I can't account for is 2 point PATs.)

The numbers for 2010 are: AU 39.6 PPG; UA 33.4 PPG
The numbers for 2010 are: AU 37.1 PPG; UA 34.2 PPG

Thank you for playing. I know math is hard.

So you're saying is AU pads it's stats against inferior (FCS) opposition? Got it.

Total Offense 2010
Total Offense 2011
Total Offense 2012
Total Offense 2013
Total Offense 2014

Alabama had greater total points per game than Auburn in 3 of the last 5 years according to Yahoo.

PPG metrics include defensive touchdowns, safeties, and special teams TDs. If we want to compare how effective each offense was in any given year, we need to use scoring offense statistics and total offense statistics, as well as yards/play.

I think those three metrics provide a good picture of the effectiveness of an offense through an entire season.

LSU fan would like to add Bama weak SEC schedule and the SEC refs as contributing factors
I would stay to debate but I need to leave early. There's a sale on corn dogs

No, I was just pointing out to your idiot compatriot that he was using faulty data; sorry that concept was too complex for you to grasp.

Also, the OP did not say "higher scoring offense against FBS schools", so I don't see what your point is (assuming you have one, besides displaying your ignorance.
