Because the BCSNC is about matching up the two best teams in college football. Bama makes a pretty convincing case for themselves every time they are selected. Some other teams, not so much...

State is a better program than kentucky i.e. a harder game. Alabama is a better program than State so i.e. an easier game.

So because Kentucky has a shitty football team and can call more opponents tough, you get to call out a tough team like Alabama because most of the teams are not as good as them?
Sound logic. We must have close to the #1 toughest schedule in basketball every year.

Of course not. My point is that people bitch and moan about Bama making the BCS championship games not because they aren't one of the best two teams in the nation, but because the BCS system is the only thing that will stop them from winning it again. If bama requires so much luck or behind the scenes manipulation (whichever you prefer), then they should lose or at least not blow out every opponent that they face in the BCSNC.
