Appears the REC got outbid.

Nah they're just getting smarter. If Bama has more penalties that are less damaging, nobody will suspect a thing!

Hasn't Bama been the most penalized team in the SEC for a couple years now? REC bullshite aside, the coaches need to get this ironed out.

The referees were shite all day yesterday.

Thank God for instant replay and the corrections they made to horrible on the field calls.

I wouldn't worry about the REC... We had a TD taken off the board where pretty much the entire ball crossed the plane and that's the first time in my life I've seen two flags thrown on a punt return and neither were on the receiving team.

We beat ourselves on our own field... I truly get why Yall were so pissed last season.

It was an incredible game though

The discipline of the offensive line has gone to shite since Stoutland's departure. The number of false starts and holding penalties they get called for every game is a complete joke. They brought in Brent Key to be a co-offensive line coach with Cristobal and the offensive line still has the same problems. Plus I don't know what the frick Lane is trying to do with the offense. They have some weird Pro-Style/Spread offense hybrid thing going on and it seems like there's a lot of confusion along offensive players trying to figure out what the hell they're doing to do.

It was a great game that was plagued with incompetent officiating.

I'm not taking anything away from the Ole Miss players. They competed their asses off until the final whistle.

I'll be cheering for y'all the rest of the way.

Strangely they were bad on both sides of the ball. They screwed ole Miss out of a TD, missed a huge block in the back on the punt return for a TD, let ole Miss hold on several big plays, and had a strange unnecessary roughness call after the play.. during the play

Yeah they were. That crew is fricking horrendous. I pity the teams they officiate for going forward.

The best conference in the country shouldn't have a crew that bad.

ETA: How they didn't call offensive pass interference on Stringfellow's TD in the 4th quarter is mind boggling. The push off was so blatant and the official was standing right there. Ridiculous.

When you commit penalties on every play but only get called for nine. Not entirely unimpressive.

Regardless of the officiating I'm more pissed off at Gary Danielson. That guy is so far up Bama's arse its not even funny.

He has to get up there early or else Verne will block the entrance.

That didn't happen. Not sure why this keeps getting parroted. I guess because Gary said he "thought he might have seen" one. The block Gary was talking about was a complete whiff.

At least the Aubs would have hundreds of still pictures to show everybody. That's why yall will always be little 6.
