LSU just lost a starting WR (granted his place on the depth chart had dropped) to TCU. he had graduated. but frick he shouldn't be on the fricking Arkansas team playing against us this year. that's bull crap.

I think if he graduated he earned the right to go wherever. Isn't education what college is all about? Does he not have the right choose what type of Masters degree he wants? Maybe the school he's at doesn't have the best academics for his chosen field?

Does any of that sound like the AD made the decision and not Saban?

Maybe the school he wants to go to has a coach that used to coach him that promised him more playing time at a position he preferred?

This is pretty much the reason the option to block exists. As usual, people hate Bama so much they're willing to pretend like this isn't some kind of conflict of interest though lol

So, he wasn't released until after he graduated.
Sounds like a non story to me.

I'm thinking the SEC office will possibly deny it. Especially if there is evidence his mom, he or any other family member talked to another SEC school while he was on scholarship at Bama.

Kirby better prepare his anus if they ever meet in a game. Not on the schedule for several years though.

They can now. No coach or administration can take the deserved criticism. That holds doubly true for a school that seeks to use players who assault females and ride dirty with stolen guns.

There has to be some level of protection for the team and coaches too. Not just one random player that sees a sweeter deal with a potential opponent.

Imagine if starters for LSU or Auburn jumped to Arkansas or Bama. Their fanbases (despite what they'll try to say on here) would also be up in arms.

This raises a good question:

Does a player have to be officially graduated to take advantage of the transfer rule? If so, he only had to wait 4 days for his waiver.
