Bama isn't forced to play 3 frosh DB's, they choose to play them because they beat out upperclassmen. They are pretty good, we'll see how good tomorrow night when they will most definitely get tested.

Have a safe trip over to t'town.

I would love to know what drugs Ole Miss fans take to make them so cocky and arrogant given that you have zero legitimate reason to feel that way

You're right little fella. The Alabama T-shirt you bought at Walmart is the closest you'll ever get to a college campus. And you substitute football for real life. Carry on.

won't matter. they won't have to cover for more than 3 seconds at a time with the Front 7 living in your backfield ever down.

Minkah and Humphrey (starter) have already seen a good bit of PT. Humphrey has played well so far as a starter and hasn't had any big huge coverage bust yet. For a first year starter, he's doing well, despite giving up some catches. Most of the catches he's given up have been with him in perfect coverage and the receiver just making a good play. Chad and Treadwell will both look his way I'm sure. Minkah looks like a star in the making, but just hasn't gotten the experience yet. When he came in for the Wisconsin game, he had a very physical play in getting the sack and has 2 passes defended. He probably has given up some passes, but I just didn't pay attention that much when he was in the game. Both are very good players.

Harrison is a highly touted freshman who's also done a nice job since he's arrived at 'Bama. He gained some praise over the off-season for his progression. He blocked a punt last week, so look out for him on special teams. Starting though, I expect him- much like the other freshman- to have some woes early on in the game due to lack of experience. Ronnie Harrison has "really done a good job"- was back in the off-season.

Shoulder still tweaked and/or not as quick on the uptake on the defensive schemes.

Humphrey beat him out. Brown will probably start next year.

Alabama and LSU seem to have established success year after year after year starting freshman DBs in big games.

No reason to think that trend will end this weekend.

FYI, Machine Gun Kelly will get every blitz package Saban has thrown at him to see how he handles real competition. I'd be more concerned about Kelly than Alabama's secondary.

Bottom Line is this......YOU CANT WIN SHITE WITHOUT A RUNNING GAME. This is the simple reason OM won't win SHITE.

They should be improved now that Saban/Kirby are not their position coaches now

Considering Alabama has nearly double the enrollment and has produced far more graduates per year than Old Mrs., I'd say the chances of him being an alumnus of UA is far greater than you being an alumnus of the Oxfart Community College. Even if he wasn't, he likely makes more money working at McDonald's than the elusive Old Mrs. graduates make.

Seriously has anyone here ever met an Old Mrs. grad?

The fact that they are freshmen make me a little nervous, but they are physical beasts.

All three will be first round draft picks. Harrison is thought to be one of the top handful of talents to come through in the Saban era. He might decapitate somebody before the year is over. 6'3" 220... about 4.4 with excellent instincts.
