Great post man. I feel the same way as you do. Its only a game, but it effects my year as I look forward to going to the games, being with friends etc.
Unlike most Bama wins I am enjoying the ride. I don't feel entitled like this should happen every year. I appreciate the efforts made by everyone involved to get us to tomorrow night.

The only reason Bama Football is important to me is that my Father was a State Trooper and we got in the games free.
Daddy would walk up to the gate in uniform and we walked right in.
Bear Bryant rubbed my head and asked if I would play for the Crimson Tide. I said Yes SIR!
Turns out I am 6'2. 130lbs. I have to run around in the shower to get wet. I'm done. Move on to a modern living. I'd have TRIED to block, run or pass for the Bear though.
Now I am 6'2" 205 lbs. I'm slow and old. I wish I could have played for the Bear.
