Might be...but he has mingo and monty going in the second round of the nfl draft....and says that mingo does not have a good pass rush....so as much as you might like his posting, his knowledge sounds pretty weak.

He may have said that just to get under people's skin. if so it seems to have worked, you did make a thread about him.Every Alabama fan knows that LSU has a ton of great players, whether they admit it on SEC rant or not is a different story.

Slow down buddy. I said I think they are mid to late first rounders and that one of them might possibly fall to the second round. After looking further I think both will be 1st rounders, but I don't think both will be top 10 picks as you seem to think is a lock. They are undersized for the NFL and one or both will likely have to switch to OLB. I then gave Reid huge props and said he was the only guy I saw last season who could dominate Trent in a one on one situation. LSU has the best D-line in the country no doubt.

Mingo can play OLB, only needs to put on a few pounds. Which is easy for one to do between now and the draft.
Montgomery can play DE in a 4-3, but he does need to get up to around 265.
Either way, I think both go in the Top Seven.

yeah, he was a pretty good player...never knocked him.
As for Mingo and Monty, I don't care where they do, I'll never make a dime off of them. My point was all the TOP analysts in the business have them going in top 10....but you on the other hand have them falling substantially with no ryme or reason. Plese don't say lack of pass rush. Mingo is probably the best pass rusher in the league.

They very well could. So you and VC think top 10. I think 15-30 range. Big deal. Most preseason predictions had Courtney Upshaw going in the top 15 and he fell to the 2nd round despite a great season. shite happens at the combine and all it can take is finding one flaw and a top 10 pick falls to #30. I think their weight and inability to put on more pounds will make them OLB's which will drop their stock a good bit.
Frankly I'm flattered VC cares so much about what some Bama fan thinks that he started a thread just to call me out by name. It's not like I'm that LSU poster a few months ago who was offering ban bets if Dre went in the top 3 rounds. We are talking a difference of opinion of 10 picks or so. Big deal.

I'm pretty sure it is a big deal $ wise to them....what you don't understand is that mingo is a freak, and monty is a beast. This has absolutely nothing to do with how far upshaw fell...nothing...but you make it an alabama vs lsu thing by comparing players. They are different types of players. period. Time will tell.
