Coker will be here 3 days after he's done with FSU. I know it's in May though....so MAY!

Yep, probably will come down to a FG war and we lose again.

You have an OL problem too. Absolutely no pass protection. The 2 times Sims got good pass protection, he delivered two solid throws. Either your DL is unblockable and the SEC is screwed or your OL isn't very good and you could be screwed no matter who the QB is.

When it's your team vs your team, there is no telling what to be really excited about which is why Spring games generally suck and offer no real intell on how the upcoming season will pan out.

I would love to be able to talk about how Auburn did but they racked up stats against the down the liners.

Yep. This happens every year. People either get way too high or way too low based on a spring scrimmage. It's comical.

With that said, how the frick can Alabama never find even a marginally good place kicker? Is it some kind of curse?

Best DL and Defense since Saban has been at Bama.

Auburn has the offensive tools to beat Bama.

I seriously have heard that every year since saban's been at bama.

Not long ago, I was also hearing about how bama's offense wasn't going to miss a beat without AJ & Nuss. The tone seems to have changed a bit.

All the chicken littles and haters out there are aware that QBs were not allow to scramble, correct? It registered as a sack if the defense got close enough to tag him out like in a wrestling match.

Saban has always preferred to pass off of the run, and obviously this is mandatory with a young QB.

In the 9-6 loss to LSU, Saban didn't trust McCarron to make the throws, and when he did, he got burned by Claiborne, which resulted in the Maze pass-Reid INT.

Later in the BCSNCG, Saban was persuaded to rely on McCarron and they passed for 16 out of 18 first downs on their way to a dominant victory. Ever since then, Saban's teams have been dependent on the passing game.

I don't think it helped that a spotlight was on the OL's run blocking "technique" either. Regardless, the Bama offense has gotten away with not having a priority on the run game. The backs are definitely not lacking in ability or numbers, so I would expect a change in emphasis in regards to offensive philosophy.

Really not very different than the situation at QB for LSU. I like our horses better than Bama's at this point. I like our defense as well as Bama does theirs. I'm all for LSU being the recipient of great QB play from an underclassman for a change. Might be all the difference in the outcomes of our matchups, annual or otherwise. Lol

Definitely not in 2014, but the way things are shaping up, 2015 should be one of those peak years for Bama's defense with the right mix of talent and experience. Might not match 2011's defense, but it could come close. Really depends on whether these 5 star cornerbacks (true freshmen this year) can take their lumps and develop this year, much like Dee Milliner did in 2010 as a freshman.

Absolutely. LSU and Bama will be in a class of their own in 2015 just like in 2011. Winner of the SEC and national chaps will be determined by the bridge schedule that I'm sure will be created

The kid better stay drug related incident free in Tuscaloosa... you know, with a name like Coker. He probably shouldn't fall apart in pressure situations for the Tide either... to avoid the easy "Choker" tag.
