Clean and pristine”? Those are words you never hear when referring to Michigan.

Michigan is first in the nation in fewest penalties per game.

First in the nation in total defense.

Top 13 in Time of Possession

2nd in the nation in turnover margin. They were clean as frick.

I'm sure there are other stats...

Believe I read yesterday from someone Bama finished 125th in Sacks allowed. Horrible. Thats's some Arkansas stuff so yes, y'all were lucky to be in the playoffs.

Meh. Not luck. Just found ways to overcome and win. Give credit where it’s due.

I saw another post about UM playing a clean game. Couldn’t agree more. Not perfect but far fewer mistakes. Teams were closely matched. Bama made some critical errors and Michigan made them pay. That’s what good teams do. Props.

You are right. Michigan is first in the nation in sign stealing. It’s easy to win when you have a week or more to study your opponents signals.
Any title Michigan might win is illegitimate.
There is the matter of recruiting violations too. That investigation is apparently still going on. In 3 or 4 years the ever vigilant NCAA might complete it.
It’s a sad day when cheaters and their slime ball coach are allowed in any bowl - especially the playoffs. No wonder y’all started beating THE osu. Y’all CHEAT!

I'm pretty sure I defended Bama in this thread.

You are an outlier, then.

Believe it or not, if you don't act like an emotional bitch 24/7, you can actually appreciate a season where an exit in the CFP Semifinal is as far as you got.

Exactly. We didn’t get to the NCG, but it was a damn good season based on the way it started.

What I get from your thread is that some people cannot fathom that Bama fans didn't think this team would do this well and are just happy we had a lot to be proud of.

You seem not to be able to understand the above comments, which are totally simple. We had lower expectations, and left with more than we expected... and we are content.

It's curious that seems so foreign to some of you.

You are content with what everyone saw on Monday night? Especially that first half. My Gawd! Things are worse at Bama than we thought
