That was the narrative after the game from the lsu fanbase, that their coaches lost the game. OP isn't an LSU fan so maybe he doesn't recall how that one played rout.

Les Miles used to call a lot of trick plays early in his career at LSU, but he really doesn't gamble as much as he used to. Starting around the 2011 he calls games fairly conservatively. I can't remember the plays in 2012 as well, but in both 2011 season games and in last year's games he played conservatively.
And predicatble ---> conservative and predictable = Les Miles

Should be a HUGE factor. Never mind the fact that Alabama has owned that place since forever.

Thought the Tide has performed better than any opponent by far in BR, actually it hasn't been lopsided of late.
LSU is 4-3 against Bama in BR since 2000.
LSU is 5-2 against Bama in Tuscaloosa since 2001.

Seeya at the game.

Knew this was going to be posted.

Ok, let's start with the Nick Saban era.
Alabama is 2-1 in BR against LSU since 2007
Alabama is 2-2 in T-Town against LSU since 2007
Alabama is 1-0 in New Orleans against LSU since 2007.

Since the Saban era, Bama leads LSU 5-3.

Series tied at 5-5.

Fun with arbitrary time spans.

Most Bama fans come away with a crazy story about an LSU fan showing his arse after visiting that place. You just can't help it. It's in your fan DNA.

Too much bama in us!!!

It's going to be a helluva game as usual. Always my favorite game of the year.

I can't count the number of times I've had a neutral tell me, "That LSU-Alabama game was one of the most exciting games I've ever seen!"

I love this thread started by a grinder. It is almost like the Grinder is the moderator between reasonable posters from LSU/Bama and the trolls on both sides.

As I have said many times past results will not effect this game or most games. Better teams tend to win but not always, I think it is obvious that LSU has improved quite a bit and Bama thinks they have improved some as well since ARK. This is why we play the games and again I love it.

It's gonna be 24-15 Bama. We will not be able to score. We are going to run effectively but in the redzone we will settle for field goals. Our defense will play well but have a few lapses. I especially think Derrick Henry will have a huge game. But next year tho

Actually it was ol' harmonics who stated that 'Bama "owned" Tiger Stadium. Guess I can't blame him with the 1-game winning streak and all.

Bama 25-9-2 in BR all-time; 11-10 in T-Town all-time. LSU only won 5 games in Baton Rouge from the start of the series, 1895 until 2000. 4 wins in BR since 2000.

Sure, Bama stunk it up during the Shula era, just like LSU did during the 70's and 90's.

Has anyone else ever won 5 of 7(Actually it was 5 of 6 before last year)in Tuscaloosa? Just wondering.
