Is it true? I've seen this rumor posted a few times on Arkansas message boards but I wasn't sure how legit it was. Could just be someone with sour grapes making shite up.

I've also heard rumors he's thinking of transferring. Any truth to it?

Haven't heard either of them. Why would they be discussing a position change at the beginning of January?

You heard wrong. He asked to be move to QB, not CB.

I don't think he's built or fast enough to be a CB. I would expect a transfer more than a position change

I believe he posted something on twitter about having to "make a decision" in regards to football and fans ran with it. I remember seeing a thread about it a few weeks back on an Arkansas board but can't remember the exact content of the tweet. Anyways, in that thread someone shot the transfer rumor down as well because they actually knew Altee and just asked him.

I mean I guess he could come here and be second or third string as well.

Better than 4th or 5th string

I guess thats better than being 7th string at Bama.

Can't believe they got 4 top 50 backs to commit into a loaded backfield. I guess somebody has to keep the bench warm.

I wonder if Alvin Kamara is still running around convincing kids not to go to Bama.

True.

Now if you guys have some CB's or LB's that want to transfer then we can talk.

I think what he means is the fact he didn't go to Arkansas...therefore it is somewhat humorous he switches positions whereas at Arkansas he would be the most talented player besides the McFadden Jones combo to grace Arkansas in the last 100 years

We were upset to have lost a 4* in-state RB, since SEC players don't come from Arkansas as easily as they do Alabama, and since locking down the state is something Bielema said he wanted to emphasize. But then we land Alex Collins pretty much immediately after, so not having Tenpenny isn't as big of a deal.

Far cry from a wet dream, but I'd take him in an instant.

We need all the CBs we can get. Hell, half of them are converted WRs.

I've never understood why Texas Louisiana and Alabama produce so much more talent (relative to their populations) than to the states just to their north with similar demographics.

There are some who would like to see him wash out at RB, partly as a sort of 'We told you so' kind of thing. A lot of Arkansas fans thought he had a better opportunity to play early at Arkansas, and that he'd have been a good fit with Bielema's system.

You mean besides the RB we currently have, who was higher ranked and has been putting up outstanding performances as a true freshman?

Also, all of those players listed have played for Arkansas in the past ten years (it hasn't even been a full ten years). But, sure, I guess they're also the best RBs we've had in the past thousand - or even ten thousand years if you want to be dramatic.
