For some reason I'm getting a vibe when it comes to actual lives, one of us is full of awesome and one of us is an idiot.

Pfft, you know that of all the Auburn posters on this board whose face I would want to rub into this season, you aren't one of 'em, bruh.

I'd be curious to know how many of these Alabama fans regularly watched/went to games before Saban's arrival. Chances of getting honest answers = 0%

I did. Followed anyways. No way to prove it of course. I was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, and stayed up until all hours to listen to Bama lose on "Yahoo Sports Radio". I paid money for that shite.

We expanded our stadium while on probation. We might have a few bandwagons, but our fans are still greater than yours.

I've been watching since the mid 90s. 2002 - 2007 were some of the worst I've seen.

Great. Having been in college during the Shula years and never beating AU any of those years it feels good to be back on the top. Those years sucked!

I dont give a damn what board this is. If I were a Bama fan, I would be fricking enjoying the hell out of it.

I rarely post, but I read a lot. The days of "The Mikes" were dark days indeed. The things said about Alabama here and by some media were pretty acerbic.

Prior to the internet, I liked most teams in the SEC and only disliked Auburn and Tennessee. The internet is responsible for a lot of the deep resentment some fans feel. The anonymity of a computer allows people to be the A$$holes they really want to be. The things posted during that time almost soured me.

I have been a fan since childhood. I was born in 1970, watched with my grandfather starting at about 6 or 7. Went to my first game at 14 and many since. I am no fair weather fan.

My first Bama game was against Ole Miss in 1992. I was a week from turning 5. I've been to at least 3 games a year since 1993. My freshman year at UA was in 2006, Shula's last year. Last week's Ole Miss game was my 137th Bama game. Bama is 102-35 in those games.

We were always running shite. It's just that only the Bama fans knew it back then.

Vindicated.

The most annoying part of Alabama's low pointw in the early 2000s was how rival fans acted like we were incapable of ever getting back and doomed to doormat status as a program from now on. Rival fans acted like we were frickin bats### crazy for daring to think a coach of Saban's caliber who was coaching in the NFL would give us the time of day. When he did take the job people flipped out instead of admitting they were wrong. The atttitude from rival fans thinking we should stick with Shula because that's the best we should hope for was really annoying too.

Yet this is the exact same spill that your fan base gives to Auburn, Tennessee, ect
