i would have said this in 1992

I doubt that also.

Our team this year is not close to the 92 team. That defense was number one nationally in 4 defensive categories at the end of the year and 9 of the eleven were drafted into the NFL.

Bill Curry left Gene Stallings some great talent.

Bill Curry might be one of the most cerebral coaches ever. I always thought he did a great job. Unfortunately, the ancient Bama-Ga Tech wound never healed on our side.

Jemele Hill actually makes Lou Holtz look and sound like a guy with a PHD.

Anyone who has ever mentioned a college team competing on the pro level should be put down. Just ask the people who said this about USC literally the morning of the day they lost to Oregon State.

Hill and Bayless being on the same show should immediately cause someone to consider a show a joke and any info obtained from it garbage. It ranks right up there with "Jim Rome said...."

FWIW, I like Jim Rome. I think he sometimes goes a little overboard in his opinionated and cocky nature, but he is still a pretty level-headed no-bullshite kind of host.

Ahhh, yes, the dreaded UAB comment. There's one common denominator in you ULM loss and our UAB loss. Hmmmmmmmmmm......

1) We're both in the SEC?
2) We both played at home?
3) Both games were on Saturday?
4) Both teams were heavy favorites?
5) Late turnovers killed both teams?
6) The loss came in year 1 of Nick Saban's tenure at both programs?
7) It was overcast for both games?

the best college football team in the Universe would lose to the worst NFL team in the universe by 3 touchdowns or more. It would not even be close.

Exactly.
