And Bama is Auburn's doormat in basketball right now

Btw, how pissed would you be if you played for Bama and the NCAA only allows colleges to take one international tour every four years and your team brings you to.... Canada God, that would suck arse

Auburn is in Italy right now living the good life, and you know... winning.
One of our guys just got back from Egypt too with Team USA... and Bama is in Canada how exciting that must be for the team. Everybody's dream vacation

Our best player is going to be a 1 and done.

That's not enough.......with the rest of the better players being younger ones. When you start bringing in 4 or 5 one and done type players, that's a different story.

Auburn and bama will need to find good young players and let them develop. Hopefully we can both get to a place where the veteran players are quality also.

One of the reasons there are expectations this season is that this team has veterans in addition to the kids.

1 school in the country does that

I agree overall though. I think Alabama and Auburn will both be in the tournament conversation this year. Auburn finally has some experience to go with the talent.

If not, both coaches will rightfully be under heavy scrutiny in 2018-19.

I don't think so. Both came into situations where there was very little talent. It takes time to build a basketball team that can compete on the national level. I think next year will tell us how each are doing.

I would feel very confident about this AU team making the tournament against the SEC of even just 2-3 years ago. The conference is just so stacked this year though that it's going to be a battle every game.

I still like our chances. We have good talent, quality depth, experience (although a glaring lack of upperclassmen), and most importantly I believe that we've done an incredible job of not obly addressing and working to fix last season's weaknesses but also of continuing to build on last year's strengths.
We're already such a good scoring team, that if the improvements I think we've made on defense take us to even the middle of the pack on that end of the court then we should be able to hang around with anybody on any given day.

I never got an answer regarding the touchdown? Is it going to happen this year Auburn?

Absolutely.

Jarrett Stidham won't be overthrowing wide open WRs, he drops these on a dime:

(That's a true freshman burning a 1st round CB)

Give AU even one healthy RB to work with this time around, against a Bama front 7 that's actually human this year.... and y'all are fricked

Beat Wichita State by 25 and Wake Forest by 40. They've won 6 consecutive national championships.

Yet, somehow they lost to Towson State.

Ahh, preseason basketball.

I personally think bama basketball is being overrated.

I think we are being a smidge overvalued as well. Doesn't mean the team doesn't have potential. I just have to see it to believe when it comes to Alabama Basketball.

Riddle me this...how is it that Auburn basketball still sucks with their supposed coaching legend?

When AU24 makes a basketball thread, Auburn fans cringe.

I've never seen someone brag about AU's basketball program as much as you. That one elite eight thirty years ago is really impressive btw, I wish LSU could achieve something like that.

The Ravens have won 13 of the last 15 Canadian national championships, going a perfect 19-0 last season not including a preseason win against Wichita State.

Pretty sure this makes them better than Auburn ;p
