For the first time in nearly three decades, it appears the University of Alabama will once again square off against the Miami Hurricanes.
Alabama is in negotiations with Miami to play in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in 2021 in the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, The Tuscaloosa News has learned.

Coming here to post that, too. Hopefully Richt will still be at the U, so he can have flashbacks of the 2012 SECCG.

Richt vs Dabo
Should be a good one.

Alabama would destroy Miami. Miami is weak. Have not even won the ACC Coastal since joining the conference despite having top talent in the division. Paper tigers.
Also do not expect their fans to travel up here. Outside of a few bandwagon fans in Atlanta Alabama fans will outnumber them 5 to 1. Expect their fans to all have neck tattoos, carry shanks and at least one tear drop.

This isn't BYU.

That would be a cool game. Much better than Duke vs Alabama.

Alabama football is a global brand. No college football program ever until Alabama under Saban 2009-Present has been this big of a draw for spectators to see. And what better way than to see them in a world class stadium in a city they already dominate, more than the Falcons, more than any other SEC team.
Alabama is essentially an NFL Development program. Put them in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, Sydney, Mexico City, Tokyo, Paris, London, etc., they will draw an abundance of spectators.
Alabama is the envy of every college football program out there. They've earned this spotlight. Embrace it. They've basically outgrown the big time OOC home-and-home games.

Things could change by 2021, but we destroy most teams now.

LSU will start the 2018 season against Miami in Cowboys Stadium.

If Saban is still our coach we should beat them pretty good.

So it would be a doubleheader with Louisville/Ole Miss? Or would they be on different days?
