Same Saban who says Deion Sanders is a "really good coach... his teams have always been well coached".
The guy says what he says as a means to an end. He has talked up some of the shittiest teams and coaches Alabama has ever played as though they are the best there every was. All coaches do it.
But "rival" is subjective at the end of the day. If LSU is a "rival", so is Auburn. If Auburn isn't a "rival", neither is LSU. The numbers say they are competitively the same when it comes to playing Alabama. Sorry.
