Because Sark was calling the plays
That was 9yrs ago and Kiffins only play call Spider 2 Y Banana.

I hope it works out so this site doesnt shut down, but he made AWFUL play calls at USCw.

Notre Dame's NC dreams should have died at the Coliseum but Kiffin destroyed that

did. Especially refreshing considering the black hole we had at QB for 5 seasons. I think MOST of ya'll are level headed about Coker but the ones who think he's gonna come in and wreck shop should probably temper expectations.

Saban has never shown a gunslinger mentality. Coker (or any one else) isn't going to come in and blow up the stat board. I see ya'lls offense being similar to AJ's first year of starting. Rely on defense and ground game while asking the QB to manage things, make a few throws here and there and overall not get in the way with mistakes.

Good stuff man. I could see that happening.

Here's what I don't understand about the transfer. Winston will go pro after this season. FSU knows with the scandal around that there's a risk something could come out of the blue and stop him from being able to play. So why send a QB with 2 yrs of eligibility left to a team you could face in the playoffs? Why not send him to a good school but one you're less likely to play?

Coker does not need to be explosive. Bama will be good if he is solid and does not mess things up.

IMO it would be foolish to do anything else with a first year starter. Saban knows he can wreck shite with a ground game and defense. Let Coker get his feet wet without ruining his confidence and I'm sure ya'll can still win.

Holy shite am I having a legit football conversation with you, no flaming? May be the first of our interactions like that.

So he was free of all the normal restrictions coaches can place on transfers? That makes more sense.

I am utterly shocked right now. I mean we're getting along here. I think I like you when you're drunk. YOU DRUNK RIGHT? You're such a nice drunk.

The OC wasn't calling the plays huh? It this because the argument that Kiffin is awful would be invalid if he coordinated one of the best offenses ever?

He got the ball a handful of times. He didn't do much at all. Bama has a lot to work on but I'm pretty confident we'll have most of it figured out before WV.

Cool. The whole thing still seems weird. Randy Sanders has hyped this kid to the moon and I just can't see why you'd do that knowing full well he would land at an opponents team.

But then I stopped trying to figure out what the hell Randy Sanders was thinking sometime in the later 90s early 00s.

not unless my sweet tea is spiked. I like giving ya'll shite during the season (we're supposed to hate each other then right?) but I genuinely enjoy watching and discussing football in general, not just LSU. Its a change of pace around here to actually discuss things without flaming.

Thank God Coker is coming in, the QB's on the current roster are all different degrees of terrible.

Still no FG kicker at all, better plan on putting teams away before the 4th quarter or going for it a lot on 4th down.
