It may be ugly, but this team fights for every second of 40 minutes (well, maybe not Jacobs) and never quits. They battle on defense and that gives us a chance in most every game.

That's happened to Vandy several times this year. Combination of turnovers and poor free throw shooting usually. Also, they seem to start worrying about running clock instead of their offense and then jack up ill-advised three-pointers with the shot clock running down.
That being said, good win Bama. We didn't just hand it to you, you had to come take it and you did.

I was most impressed with the play Grant did for Lacey for the go ahead 3. Just a great play call we don't see often.

Our offense is what it is, and this is still a relatively young team although they do have plenty of experience. I admire the way their fight and their toughness though, and most of the time they play great defense. Those are all signs of good coaching, we just need an offensive coordinator

They do play hard..offense or not. And when you hang around in a game you have a chance to win.

I'm convinced if Bama had played the better squads of recent years, they would have lost to Vandy, Kentucky, aTm, and Mississippi State.

Just got back to the hotel, what a fight we put up. Even had Roll Tide goin on in there toward the end.

It's a win but I can't help but feel like we're plowing a field with thoroughbreds when I watch our offense.
