Good guys 31

Auburn 17...I expect a close game in the 1st half, with Ingram and co. wearing Auburn down in the second half....

Exactly what I think, most logical post yet from a Bammer.

auburn's offense has to get off to a good start and control the ball. if that happens and their D isn't out there a lot in the first half then it's going to be a scary fourth quarter. they will be ready for this game and all this 132-3 score predictions are absurd. this isn't the same auburn team as last year. they haven't quit. bama needs to run the ball right at them and wear that thin defense down. bama scores late to put it away.

Long time no see. While I don't believe this game will resemble anything like what we saw last year, I don't see how AU is gonna score 17 or more. We have faced better offensive teams in Ar-Kansas, LSU, Ole Miss, etc. and have shut them down completely (Talent-wise anyways, please don't post inflated stats. There's not a receiver on AU's team that would start at any of these schools, nor would any of these schools trade their QB for AU's) . I get the emotion, crazy crowd, ruining our season stuff, but if we don't over run plays, which we haven't done much of this year, I don't see how they get that many. That being said, I don't think we score a ton of points either.

I agree.

I think some Bama fans are leaving some wiggle room on their predictions. I don't see how a team that got shut down by Georgia for three quarters will score much on maybe the best defense in the nation. On the flip side, Alabama has the best run game around and we couldn't stop the below average Georgia run game.

I'm thinking Auburn is winning or close and questionable call goes to Bama and Bama wins 27-17

You are my brother Alabamian. I'm serious when I say I wish Auburn and Alabama were both undefeated coming into the Iron Bowl every year.

If I'm EVER going to pull for ANYONE other than Alabama it'll be Auburn.

It for sure won't be TN, with that Lame Kitten little bitch coach they have... and his cadaver of a father.

It won't be LSU... but only because they're from LA. Otherwise I kinda like those guys.

A lot of my friends are Aubies.. and I have no problem with them beating EVERYBODY else but us. And if 'Bama has no shot at the title... I fricking hope Auburn wins it.

the rest of the SEC.

Won't happen. AU's offense is better than last year, but so is Bama's defense. Plus, AU's defense is paper thin. Bama will out man AU this year. Saban will run the ball and throw in a pass or two. Then, midway thru the 3rd qtr, he'll put in fresh legs and literally wear them down running Ingram/Richardson and eating up the clock.

AU just doesn't have the horses to get the job done this year. But, they are brining in some pretty talented guys with this recruiting class. Time will tell if Roof is the right man to bring back the AU defense we all know so well.

I have many friends and famliy on the Bama side myself.

The game is more fun when both teams are rolling. We'll be back soon and maybe we can see some more Van Tiffin and Lawyer Tillman type games again.

Our only chance to win is to blitz the hell outta GM. If we can sack him a few times, get a fumble, get his feet a little happy then we can get him flustered. Jordan Hare could be the biggest factor of the game.

Blitzing like crazy sets up the possibility of big run plays. If Inram gets into the secondary after a blitz... look the hell out.

M4A, you guys don't have a chance in hell of winning. I'm ok with us not embarrassing you though.

True, but the guys that Bama would still have hanging out in the secondary > than those that Auburn has.

Auburn has to find ways to create pressure, but they would be well-served to be judicious with their blitzes.

If Julio breaks off his route for a blitz... and gets one block from Maze or Hanks... he's gone.
