You do realize that in 2016 they played 4 of the 5 away and they always have a bye before LSU, right?

bama opens up with Fla. State, a potential pre season #1 team. Lose that game & bama would be on a 2 game losing streak. Against the ACC.

LSU and Alabama have both had bye weeks before playing each other for years now.....

Early season home games just mean that they have to end their season with LSU, then 2 final SEC games on the road, with a cupcake week before they go to Auburn.

But Tennessee will be good again one day, so it all balances out.
