Of course Wisky isn't going to make the trip, they already played in Texas last season.

Schools need to stop scheduling neutral site openers. It ruins everything that is good about true road trips to big time college campuses. These neutral site games should feature schools that have a recruiting/regional footprint in the area. Pac12 vs Big12, Big12 vs SEC, SEC vs ACC, ACC vs Big10.

There's not that much excitement from the UW fanbase going into the season, which is weird considering they ended the year by beating Auburn.

Also weird because they wanted Paul Chrsyt and now they have him.

Btw, this serves those frickers right for scheduling SEC games right after Bielema left them. I'm sure they were thinking they'd beat LSU or Alabama, and that in turn would make Bielema look bad.

Still not sold out and BOTH fan-bases HATE this game.

Have fun in Dallas boys....be sure to watch Auburn in the "sold-out" Georgia Dome at 3:30 pm this Saturday. Save the date.

Sad that you couldn't sell out.

Sad.

If it helps them get Greg Little, it was worth it for them. They have enough money. A 5th mortgage on a trailer home to pay for a ticket in Dallas does them more harm than good at this point.

I missed the SEC Game last year and that was in ATL

Nah. I've got no control in that game. I'll play you in a high stakes game of Hold 'Em, though.

in between class periods in high school I would walk in on dice games in the bathroom

someone once tried to explain the rules to me and it just seemed like a dumb way to lose a couple bucks

2012 vs Michigan (Alabama and Michigan bring big numbers and have an estimate of 90,000+),

Yeah - I was at the Michigan game and it was sold the frick out, standing room only....Michigan travels very well...definitely did their part and had nearly half the stadium.

This one is just weird and pretty sure I overpaid for my tix. I expect a different story next year for Southern Cal. That one will be huge and that game will have playoff implications.

Ahhh. Gotcha. You were being clever. Not everyone at AU plays dice. Just the basketball team and select morons on the football team.

A lot of people at AU play a progressive pot game called 3's and 9's, or at least they did when I used to visit friends there. Basically a poker game where you make the best three card hand you can with 3's & 9's being wild. Progressive pots made for some GREAT (and horrible) nights for your boy.

Atlanta is like what a 90 minute tractor ride from Auburn?

I would hope their fan base could make that trek.

The asphalt is really hot when you walk barefoot. They may have to take a few breaks walking from West Georgia.

So has anyone pointed out to the OP that "only 40,000" was of the 50,000 allotment to each school?

LINK

Alabama easily sold theres, Wisconsin didn't.

Which is where the 40,000 number came from.

The source:

They're having trouble selling tix to the #ALAvsWIS game on Saturday. Only around 40k sold as of yesterday. Very few bought by Badger fans.

1:55 PM - 2 Sep 2015

Will easily be 80,000 there.
Mostly Bama fans, which was the point of the tweet.

C'mon guys...are we walking or riding tractors?

It's almost the start of the season and you two dummies can't get your story straight. You've had months to prepare your witticisms. I expected better.

Next time stick to your telephone tree gossip. Or at least 'cool story bro' yourself.

son, you need to learn how to think for yourself and quit letting others think for you. you are a politicians dream. do not despair tho as most of the country is the same; they actually believe what politicians say and then make judgements based on that (which I guess means they were led to believe).

I think he meant 25,000 to each school...AT&T holds about 80K but can be expanded out if necessary....Bama got 25K which they could sell to fans and pretty sure those sold out
