Would you be proud if Saban thought he could get someone better so he went back on his word and asked the kid to go elsewhere?

grades. He was going to be close and he was offered a grayshirt. Didn't want that and wanted a better shot at playing early. He's been talking about USM for a long time now.

Good kid and a decent player too. Hope he does well at USM.

I just think that Saban's hard push is beginning to jade some of these kids. Bama will likely keep their biggest names but probably lose a few good prospects in the end amidst the chaos.

Actually he has grades issues and will have a much easier time to qualify at S. Miss than at Bama! This was expected to happen for awhile now and it finally happend!

"Alabama loses another commit per rivals"

Another?

This is the first recruit Saban has lost at Alabama. He wasn't going to qualify at Bama but could at USM. He was also one of the lowest rated recruits Bama had.

I'll agree that we may lose Sentimore which would be a big loss but losing West was welcomed by many.

Wow! Let the attrition begin if that's the general attitude in Bamaland. I think that any losses at this point in the game are big ones.

Recruiting 101: keeping the ones you have is a priority.
