Meanwhile , odds for Ole Miss to win the national championship has gone from 250 to 1 to 16 to 1.

quote:

Ole Miss is a scary team for the Wynn sports book. The Rebels were 250-1 to win the national championship during the offseason at the Wynn. Bettors pounced with an accumulation of wagers -- some in the three- and four-figure range -- and Avello is wary.

"They're a big liability for us," Avello said. "People had good insight on them."

At the Wynn, the Rebels are currently 16-1 to win the national championship.

According to your link

Alabama 2009-Present 60
Florida St. 1997-2001 54
Florida St. 1992-1995 41

Who's greatest?

What Bama has done the last 5 years(72-6) in the modern era SEC is one heck of a accomplishment. It's not very easy staying competitive yearly in such a tough conference like the SEC. That deserves much kudos, that simple. Especially while getting everyone's best shot(So many bye weeks taken before playing Bama proves this much) yearly. It's the ultimate complement to Saban, Staff, and Bama players that so many respected them that much. When your circle on everyone calendar, you did something right in CFB.

I tip my hat off to what Bama/Saban did
Plus, the memories they gave us was awesome
I wish every fan-base could get to experience it

So 15 times they have been less than double digit favorites and have lost 8 of them.

I agree that Alabama has had a great run, but you cant seriously complain about the schedule. You have rarely or never had to play the best or even the 2nd best team from the east during the regular season. Many teams can only wish they had Alabama's schedule

Then that's dumb. You have no control over making the national title game but it's all that matters? Retarded.
