Bama is by far the best and most balanced offense msst will face all year. Get ready to get dominated, by pass and by the run. Bama will gain 450+ yards.

Msst will be lucky to gain 250 and will not have more than 1TD if that. It will be a total domination on both sides of the ball. Your 7-0 start is nothing but fools gold and the 4 loss collapse starts this weekend!

I wouldn't call completing 42.3% of his 26 passes against Troy "deadly accurate."

You clearly watched 0 minutes of the Troy game and are attempting to draw some kind of conclusion out of a box score.

Had you watched, you would have seen that we had 8 receiver drops in that game, including 2 sure-fire TD passes. One of which put Morrow on the bench for half the season. All those were passes that we've caught all year other than that game for whatever reason. 19-26 with 5TD passes for 300+ yards looks alot better in that stat line doesn't it?

Russell has been incredibly precise. Only game he was anything less than perfect in the passing game was the South Alabama game, which has it's own excuse...

In 3 SEC games Russell has over 700 yards with a 63% completion rating, 8 TD's with 0 interceptions. Last night he was 18/21. Saying he isn't accurate is just stupid.

Their stats are so bad because Mississippi State tore them up so badly.

I'm not saying we win obviously. I don't think we are over rated but this Bama team appears to be on another level than everyone else. I do think we pose the biggest potential threat that they will see until the SECCG.

I had not said this yet, but I do agree with it. I like Miss St chances against Alabama better than anybody else on the schedule.

Not really anit-msst. This is one of the most complete Bama teams offense/Defense that I have seen in my 25 years of being a Bama Alum/Fan. Msst has a nice team, by y'alls standards, but is significantly inferior to this Bama team and it will be proven this saturday. Plus, the 7-0 start is fools gold, not the mother load, for the grinders. I'd like to see Msst win out after Bama but the facts are it's not going to happen with the remaining schedule you'll face.

BAMA & LSU are both significantly more talented; A&M, ARK are both teams fully capable of beating State and Ole Miss seems improved and is a huge rivalry game. Unless State shows me something this weekend that proves they are different from past state teams then 3 losses minimum.

Good Luck after this weekend and hopefully there will be no injuries!

Why would we be one dimensional? This is a good, balanced offense.

Well, even Vegas agrees with the majority of people that believe that Mississippi State has played absolutely no one up to this point. Now, if State was 7-0, but had beaten an Oklahoma State or a West Virginia or even a Northwestern, then maybe the spread would be closer. But when your AD and HC schedule cupcakes, you tend to be irrelevant when Vegas makes the odds against the No. 1 team in the country.

I will give State credit for being 7-0, and they are playing good, solid football up to this point, but you are playing the most dominant team in the country right now, and you are the road team. You may cover, but it is highly unlikely you will win. Good luck on Saturday.

Historically, Bama has been much better at covering the line on the road compared to home. Bama contributed to the proof of that this weekend. So personally, I'd stay away from this game as a bettor.

But then again, for all the Bulldog unbeaten platitudes... according to Sagarin, the Strength of schedule is Bama (26th) and MSU (119th). The Grinders are 7-0, but anything less against that schedule would be bad. Really bad.

The only way your team cover the spread is if bama gets bored and detached.

They did not get bored with Tennessee

That's a ridiculous line. Bama wouldn't have covered that spread against Ole Miss.

Sounds about right. Only one common opponent. Bama won by 31. MSU won by 10. That's 21. Add 3 for home field advantage.

Did you not watch the Bama/Ole Miss game last season? Let me remind you that if last year's Rebels would have played in Bryant Denny this year. we would have lost by 40 or more. Vegas oddsmakers may seem out of touch, but they really aren't.
